Divine Invitation

I believe God is revealed in nature. That’s one of the ways God revealed Himself to me about 5 years ago. Riding out on the ranch by myself, I couldn’t escape God’s glory. It seemed to shout at me through these giant skies; His existence became so obvious to me, that I couldn’t keep enjoying earth’s beauty without acknowledging its creator. I felt strangely exploitative, like reading my favorite book without knowing the author or listening to a song without caring to know the band…
I believe the sun comes up each day to deliver us an open invitation to the kingdom of God. And He’s here, waiting patiently for us to accept—romancing us with this strange, incredible planet.
I believe Yahweh enjoys us enjoying creation. And I believe our spirits yearn to enjoy it with Him too. Each day is not a burdensome mandate to justify our existence, but a divine invitation to enjoy it with our God.

Beautifully written. I moved to South Dakota from a coastal megalopolis, and what you describe here rings true.
