In giving up dreams of perception 

You might find you’re less of a dick 

Refrain from rehearsed phrases 

Meant to forge intelligence

Let go of suppressing goodness for the sake of pessimism 

None worship at your feet oh god of aestheticism 

But if your sad ego simply won’t wake up, may you have the stamina to carry on the facade.
